day 1: woke up in plattsburgh and drove down to New Jersey to meet up with the Allstar dudes and grab copies of the new split Dino / Allstar disc. they had a show to go play in NYC so we parted ways there and the Dino van (comprised of myself, jayce, alicia, ryan, and mikey) headed to the first Jonas Brothers show. but first we had to stop at staples and make up our sweet laminates. this took FOREVER so we arrived at the show a bit late, but immediately parked and started hustlin. hustled for about an hour and then tried to priceline a hotel nearby. MISTAKE. we ended up with the tiniest room with 1 king bed for 5 people. alicia, ryan, and jayce slept on the bed, mikey slept on his cot in the bathroom, and i slept on the floor next to the bed.
day 2: we arrived at the jonas show early this time, caught up with Allstar and grabbed some more promo cards, and then worked the show for a couple hours. met some awesome kids and parents, and kicked it with the radio disney folks for a while. everyone was super nice and we took lots of pictures and the dino signed lots of autographs. fun day. then we stopped at a subway to plot our next move. we decided to drive up to Boston and stay with our friend Maddie. though it was only supposed to take us around 3 hours, there was a ridiculous amount of traffic and it ended up taking almost double that. we got in around 2am, kicked it for a bit in the living room, and then crashed. as I understand it, Mikey and Jayce stayed up late in the rage cage and may have made the biggest viral video ever. we’ll see how that pans out.
day 3: off day in Boston. we’re at Maddie’s apartment in Allston right now, she and her boyfriend Pete are both at work. it’s 11am and everyone is still asleep. I’m always the first awake, trying to take care of business. the allstar dudes are up in Boston today too, as well as Richard and Stefanie (our label owners), so we’re gonna try to meet up with everyone and have some fun. if you’re in Boston today thru late Saturday Night, give me a shout and we’ll kick it!
